Build Awesome Stuff - Learn by Doing
At Goldsmiths we believe in "learning by doing". Hacksmiths and the Department of Computing invite you to take part in DoC.Hack - a friendly and welcoming introduction to the Computing Community at Goldsmiths. This is event is for all students in all programmes and years, and members of faculty.
For 6 hours you'll get to design and build weird, wacky and wonderful projects while meeting new people and having fun, before a relaxed show and tell.
No skill, ideas or team needed - just bring a laptop and we'll sort the rest.

All projects built at this event belongs completely to the teams. However, to generate the widest benefit from this event, we encourage attendees to provide Open Source licenses for the results of their work.
What should I bring?
All participants will need to bring their laptop, charger(s) and any other devices they wish to work on.
Who is this event for?
This is event is aimed at all students and faculty from the Department of Computing. You must be a Goldsmiths Student or Staff member to attend.

Do I need a team?
You don’t need a team to take part; it’s perfectly acceptable to create a solo project. However, during the event itself, there will be opportunities to share ideas and connect with your fellow hackers to form a team. As organisers, we’ll do our best to encourage and facilitate teamwork across the weekend.
